The National Minority Supplier Development Council's Certification Policy and Procedures Manual, is firmly adhered to by its 36 affiliated Councils for the certification of minority-owned businesses. Standardized Procedures assure consistent and identical review and certification of minority-owned businesses throughout the NMSDC Network. The NMSDC is the only national minority business development organization providing certification throughout the U.S. where MBEs are genuinely minority-owned and operated, and ready to do business.

Advanced Management Education Program customized executive education, with highly intensive training and technical assistance for CEOs of minoirity-owned firms.

Business Opportunity Fairs which allow minority entrepreneurs to present

Inclusion — to the Minority Business Information System (MBISYS^®),
NMSDC's national database of certified minority suppliers.

Networking opportunities — provides expansion of relationship-building opportunities with corporate buyers.

Working capital loans — to certified minority businesses which have contracts with NMSDC national and regional corporate members, through the Business Consortium Fund, as well as longer-term financing through the BCF's Specialized Small Business Investment Company (SSBIC).
