HOTEL INFORMATION 

                                  NMSDC CONFERENCE AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY FAIR  


The Miami Beach Convention Center is headquarters for the 2010 NMSDC Conference and Business Opportunity Fair.  The Business Opportunity Fair, meal functions and all program sessions will be held at the convention center.  The Awards Banquet will be held at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel.  The pre- and post-conference constituent group meetings will be held at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. 

NMSDC will provide complimentary shuttle bus service between the conference hotels and the convention center. 

NMSDC has secured room blocks at several Miami Beach hotels at special discounted rates.  Rooms are still available at the Fontainebleau at the conference rate using the link below:

The special rates are in effect October 21 through October 30, on a space - available basis.  After September 24, rates and room availability cannot be guaranteed.

To take advantage of these special rates, please make your reservation as soon as possible.  Once the room blocks are filled, these rates may no longer be available. 

Suite reservations can also be made through the hotel.   

To assist you in making your reservation, a list of conference hotels and rates is provided below.  Please take a look at the map to view the location of the conference hotels in relation to the convention center. 

The hotels will fill up quickly, so make your reservation early!

All room reservations require a first night's room and tax advance deposit.  You must guarantee your reservation with a major credit card. The credit card used to secure the reservation will be charged by your respective hotel for one night’s room and tax after September 24. 

Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m.  Guests arriving before check-in time will be accommodated as rooms become available.  Should a later departure be necessary, arrangements can be made with the bell captain for the storage of luggage. 

To Make a Hotel Reservation at the Fontainebleau

Welcome to NMSDC's online housing reservation system.  After completing and submitting your reservation,  you will  be emailed your NMSDC Conference Housing Bureau acknowledgment.

Cancellation Policy 

For cancellations prior to September 24, contact the housing bureau.  After September 24, contact the hotel directly within the prescribed timeframe set by the hotel prior to your scheduled arrival date and obtain a cancellation number or you will risk forfeiture of any refundable deposits. 

Any room reservations held with duplicate names must be changed to the name of the attending guest prior to August 20 or they will be cancelled by the NMSDC Conference Housing Bureau at the direction of NMSDC. 

Each reservation will forfeit one night’s room and tax deposit if the reservation is not cancelled 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. 

An early departure fee will apply if your hotel is not notified of the change to your reservation prior to your scheduled arrival.
